Conforming loan limits 2019 in Washington

In 2019 Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have purchase limits for Washington. Mortgage loans at or below these limits are known as "conforming" loans, because they conform to the lending limit. Loans above these limits are called non-conforming or jumbo loans. Most US counties have a maximum loan of $417,000 for a single family house, however, some US counties exceed the typical $417,000 loan amount. Loans that surpass this limit are usually called conforming jumbo mortgages.
